The downside to Mel Gibson's DUI arrest

At least in Louisville, anyway, is that we have to put up with Kimberly Lesak.

This woman is the new poster girl for attention whores everywhere.

 

That's five minutes I'll never get back.

 

How would you have liked to be the reporter assigned to that waste of time?

That story had to be 25-30 inches.

 

I'd hit it.


Uh ... Kimberly, not Mel.


Not that there's anything wrong with that.

 

"So, you saw Mel Gibson in the bar. Then what?" [/reporterscribblingfrantically]

 

It would have been a better story if she were Jewish.

 

Cut that story by two-thirds and it's kind of interesting.

For future reference: "Self-professed extrovert" = attention whore

 

While at the trendy oceanside club, Lesak heard Gibson was there.

Are there any clubs in LA that aren't "trendy?"

Lesek had no clue where she was, or the writer f'd up. There is no Ritz Carlton in Del Mar, which is 90 miles south. There is one in Marina Del Rey, minutes from LAX.

 

On the other hand, it's not every night you go out drinking till 2 a.m. and profit from it.

 

There are clubs that aren't trendy. Those are the ones that let in tourists from Louisville.
