    Yup, Linda Bogdan, in 2009.

But I've just been reminded that any interest by Trump is irrelevant anyway, unless he feels like selling his casinos. Fat chance of that.

Re: Packers, they were grandfathered in when the bylaw forbidding community ownership was passed in (I think) 1961. Don't think high rollers like Kraft or Jones are interested in changing that rule.

Has Cuban ever tried for a NFL franchise? I know he was close with baseball, but I don't think he's ever tried for the NFL.

USFL grudges aside, I'm guessing the NFL wouldn't look at someone who owns casinos as an ideal fit.

No, I'm sure they have better cars than I do.

The Bills could wind up being one of the great bargains in the NFL. If someone buys the franchise and it gets moved to Toronto or LA, the franchise's value will skyrocket.

    Unless there's a relocation fee.

Who knows what he owns? Don doesn't own Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc. he has some stock, but is not a board member or officer.

Is he more than a product, a brand name, that he licenses?

Forbes lists the Bills value at $870 million. That seems high until you consider that the Jaguars were sold a couple years ago for $770 million.

I'm guessing they could move to Toronto without too many roadblocks. LA, obviously would be a different story.

Roadblocks or not, Mizzou, the Bills are not moving to Toronto. I agree with your previous opine on the Raiders eventually returning to Los Angeles. I'm among those who think the Jags will end up in London.

I don't think London will ever get a team. I think the most they'll ever get would be eight games (from various teams) played over there during a season, which would be the same number of home games that NFL cities get.

I can't imagine how they could ever make having a franchise over there full-time work. It would be a logistical nightmare and the travel would put the team at a colossal disadvantage.

But could the Bills also wind up in Europe? Having two teams over there would ease the travel burden somewhat for divisional play. You make your trips on back-to-back weekends and just stay overseas the week between games. Plus, it gives the Europe-based teams one short trip each year.

Nobody is moving to Europe unless they get double the cap space, because you'd have to pay a player double to get him to move over there. And even then it would be difficult.

I don't think Goodell has ever had any intention of bringing a team there. There's really no way it could work.
