Made me laugh, but seriously: Couldn't the battery (or whatever) store power?

I'm sure stored energy would allow it. But, shit, I forget to recharge my phone about three times a week. If I had to recharge a car, it'd be sitting at my house dead most of the time. Also, can you get a car charger to recharge your car?

Wouldn't you learn your lesson after the first time or two?

And I'm guessing the technology could be made to work like hybrids do now, where moving the car creates more power.

Failing that, just get a bunch of hamsters and stick 'em under the hood.

Of course, 10 years later, we'd be bitching about hamster-future trading.

And we'd be suing the hamster cartels.

Not for nothing, but there is a HUGE oil reserve sitting right in South Dakota. The oil companies are trying to keep it hush/hush until they can decide how much is there, how to divy it up, how to screw the Indians.

And of course, the biggest hypocrite of all resides in 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. as one of the biggest oil barons of them all.

But of course you wouldn't dare admit that, would you? ::)

    Word.

I feel the same about any alternative fuel as well. I don't give a shit about the environment because I'm not going to live forever. What I give a shit about is affordable energy. We're going to be gouged no matter what form it takes.
