Wow. That's a lot of Marriott points for a newbie.

    You're a jet-setting globetrotter!

Or is that a globetrotting jet-setter?

Update.... and I'm taking a big leap here that y'all give a crap ... :D

I've done some freelancing, and I'm loving it !!!

A couple of my articles got some 'most viewed' action. :p

To those who I promised links... standby... I'm working on something right now that could be my best so far. If I get this published, that's the one I'll send you.

Meantime, enjoy Wimbledon. Tally ho pip pip and a bottle of Pimms.

I'm one of you people now. Freakin' scary.

Nope. I'm in the States. I tried to pull off Wimbledon but couldn't quite get there.

...Unless something crazy happens and I get over there in time for the semis.

It's interesting, though.... and I decided to update this thread after reading some posts about former staffers now becoming busy freelancers....

I can envision a scenario where I get myself to these tournaments using miles, stay with friends or cheap Airbnb.... and freelance.

I'm still doing video work that will send me to the Cinci tournament, for example, so I'll be there anyway. Easy opportunity to write.

You start to see how this is all going to work... maybe for all of us.

Good for you, Lugs. It's really exciting when you can string (so to speak) a few things together and make a nice little gig.

Why do you have Heenan as your av? The isle of Malta cannot be pleased.

And I would love to read whatever you can offer, Ms. Lansing Baseball. (forgoing the smiley because the emoji family bites)
