The cycle: Am I alone in this opinion?

    The only thing you're not accounting for here is that for each of those 4,860 opportunities for a pitcher or a team to get a no-hitter, there are at least 27 opportunities for someone to break it up. So during the course of a season, there are at least 131,220 opportunities to break it up (excluding, of course, walks, errors, HBPs, etc.).
