The cycle: Am I alone in this opinion?

    Right. Liberals don't believe in having big guns or excessive power, so their homer numbers are down.

    I too fall in the "statistical curiosity" camp. A player with two homers and a double has the same number of total bases as someone who hits for the cycle.
