    There's no reason I ought to say this, but I and a group of friends did such a contest in high school -- the time frame was the length of Lent. We were obviously very reverent dudes.

    That's kind of how my contest went. Only is was inspired by Seinfeld, as many of my life's events are. My buddy supposedly lasted 42 days. I beat the crap out of him.
