    What in the world happened here? Did anyone read this before it went to print?

    And people -- on this very board, no less -- wonder why people are willing to believe the worst about the liberal media.

    Never been to Butte, have you?

    That is objective, given the town's makeup. It's general population is to my left.

    Haha. But allow me to stay humorless for a minute: Whether you're the editor of a newspaper in Manhattan, N.Y., or Manhattan, Kansas, you shouldn't make sweeping statements -- in your own publication -- that "a hallmark" of the people who disagree with you politically is to be name-calling idiots.

    Whether it's good business sense or reflects the community is immaterial.
