    I thought the same thing.

It also sounds like a heck of a potential thread.

    No.

Salinger, George Reedy, Moyers, and George Christian went through the mill for LBJ.

    That'd be a scoop.

    Nope . . . Lucky Pierre.

As much as I loved The West Wing, I really think Sorkin left some on the table by not doing an episode where either Ainsley Hayes or the character played by Moira Kelly, even better if it was Sam Seaborn - wrote a tell-all of their time in the White House. I can see Josh Lyman sitting in his office with a copy, going through the index to see where his name is mentioned and crafting some response. Maybe even flashbacks "Roshamon" style to show what different characters remembered about an anecdote. Would have been a great episode.

  8. The did have an episode like that. There was a nobody who was coming out with a book and Sam Seaborn was going nuts about how such a nobody could be writing about things he nothing to do with or no clue about.

It had been an intern, or a photographer.
But I remember that episode as well.

Would have been better if it was somebody prominently featured on the show in the early seasons. Call it "Et tu Brute?"
