Oh my god--our lovely White House press secretary doesn't know what the Cuban Missile Crisis was, or the Bay of Pigs invasion--I find that staggering. How can you be in that position if you don't know anything about your own country's history? Amazing how far a pretty face can carry you in this country.

I was 7 during the Carter administration too. And I knew all about the Cuban Missile Crisis during Reagan's first term. I expect more from the White House than frolicing dipshits on parade.
