I "see" those "unnecessary" quotation marks at my "old" college "all" the time.

    It drives me "crazy."

"Special" is the word that best describes you.

I want that card. So many people, on so many occasions, I could give that to.

I used to do unnecessary air quotes around words in speaking when I was working part-time in Lexington. A guy from the Herald added me on Facebook a couple weeks back and his first message to me had words in "quotes." It was awesome.

    I love "fake quotes."

Sweet Tebow, just yesterday I passed a hotel here that had unnecessary quotes on the sign out front. It said ... Enjoy our "in"door pool.

I'll be e-mailing a photo of that ASAP.

I fully expected to see clips from our news department and I say that will all sincerity. It's a running joke with not only us but with people in the community to see what has quotation marks on any given day.

I like the misused quotation marks/apostrophes combo I saw one time:

    "Taco's"
    99 cents

My mom uses quotation marks around numbers on birthday cards all the goddamn time. And actually, I got a Christmas card from her once that said Merry Christmas "Son".
