    Oasis sucks.
    Nice teeth, though.

"Foo Fighters" is a Hall of Fame dumb band name.

"Best" being a subjective measure, of course. Couldn't stand them then, can't stand them now.

Soundgarden most definitely had the best drummer of the grunge gang.

Stuff like this just makes no sense to me. A lot of people seem to define rock as "Would it fit in on the FM radio station I listened to in the late 70s?" They're absolutely a rock band.

Everything points to him being in my wheelhouse, but I didn't get much from a handful of songs I listened to. I'll have to go back for another go-round, though. A lot of artists I really like took a while to "grab me."

Only heard bits of the new record, but it's supposed to be tremendous.

None of this will matter in 25 years, after a zombie virus wipes out most of the world and no one can travel to Cleveland anyway.

That being said ... if I somehow survive and stumble upon an old guitar ("what can this strange device be ... when I touch it, it gives forth a sound ..."), "Sister Luck" would be one of the songs I try to play. Probably my favorite off one hell of a great debut album.

And yes, "Southern Harmony ..." holds up well, too.

Shake Your Money Maker has some great songs, but suffers somewhat from its production. There aren't many great albums out there that are as recognizably 1990 as that one.

Ritual de lo Habitual is SO 1990 it hurts.

I don't know why I thought Jane's Addiction would hold up better, but I did, and I sure was wrong.

I prefer The Black Keys. You can hit them all day and they don't hit back
