You are not alone. Did not like Napoleon Dynamite. Thought the Big Lebowski was mediocre. Didn't like Wedding Crashers, Old School or Anchorman, either. That, according to many of my peers, makes me a communist. Solidarity, brothers.

Are you trying to say that you, and not JR, are the goddamn pater familias?

Dude, I LIVED for Napoelon Dynamite. I copyrighted the phrase "Nappyjack" for when we would do NappyD quotes.

"But my lips hurt real BAD!"
    "Your mom goes to college."

    Etc.

I didn't read the first part of this thread, so I'm glad someone quoted the above so I could see it and rightfully respond.

Well, if you think that was the funniest thing so far, it sounds like you're more of a slapstick guy. If so, Lebowski is definitely not for you. I love this movie, but it was an acquired taste, as was O'Brother and Fargo ... hell, any Coen Brothers movie, for that matter. Now, I love them more each time I watch.

I stopped fighting with people a long time ago about movie choices. To each his/her own.

You didn't think I was rolling out of here naked, did ya?

    I did love Fargo.

  11. Blood Simple is a Coen bros. film that gets overlooked, IMO. way better than Raising Arizona or O Brother, though completely different.

    Fargo is an all-timer.

Some of my all-time faves ... in addition to Fargo.
    Pulp Fiction
    Shawshank Redemption
    Citizen Kane
    The Graduate
    Rio Bravo
    American Psycho
    There's Something About Mary
