The best commercial I can remember: Howie Long and the "man step"

They must have laffed filming this commercial.

Look at the symbolism:

A closeup of the man-step guy almost missing his "step". whoaoaoaa..

Man-step guy has huge tie-downs strapping in ..... a bird house in the bed of his truck.

Man-step guy's wimpy, disheveled appearance, contrasted with Howie Long's rugged, almost regal presence.

Well done.

 

Hate it. Pisses me off every time.

I do, however, enjoy the one where the little red-haired girl points at Howie's crotch and says, "That's a big-girl car!"

 

Nah, that one sucks. Not even the best current Chevy trucks commercial (the honor goes to the one where the guy's voice changes when Howie asks him about his V6 Tundra's mileage).

She does say "That's a big girl seat," but that's before she points at his crotch.

That's the way I remembered it, too, but upon further review, the crotch point corresponds with "That's a big-girl car." Still hilarious.

Yea, the little girl commercial is fantastic. The manstep one, eh, not so much.

My god I HATE that commercial. Her voice makes me want to punch her, and that obnoxious head-nod at the end? I wish her head would fall off.
