The best advice you've ever gotten?

The ones that stick out in my mind from my dad are a bit different.
1) THE sex talk consisted of him yelling to me in the back of the minivan while he was driving "If you're going to have sex, wrap it up." That was it.
2) "Don't marry the first girl you sleep with." I should add my dad is a minister.
3) "Eat what you can, when you can, because you don't know when you'll eat again."
4) "Don't quit your job until you have a new one lined up," probably the most useful of any bits of wisdom he's shared with me.

I'm sure he told me all of the standards, but those are what stick out to me.
