He's 76 and in ICU for the flu.

Probably no big deal, but man, the cnn.com story reads like an obit, complete with 20-photo slideshow.

In fairness, one of the celeb hospital stool pigeons may have tweeted or phoned he's in really bad shape. But if he is, the stoolie should've gone to TMZ, not CNN.
PS: When I was starting out at the Phoenix, I interviewed Burt when he was in Boston doing the extremely mediocre "Starting Over" with Jill Clayburgh. He was a very good interview considering he was talking to some punk alternative journalist, and I liked him.
