I couldn't find the original post but here is an update on what the baddest sports writer in the country is facing.

Shocked this isn't about Gregory Doyyel

He's been suspended, not fired. I guess that's a good thing.

Those no-end-in-sight suspensions have a way of turning into dismissals as soon as the jury weighs in.

Ok, so if he's innocent he keeps his job?

If he's innocent, then the paper's lawyers have to earn their retainer.

I had no idea that Lee Roy Brown was working as a sportswriter.

I know what happens if he's guilty.

You take over pimping his string?

Gregg Doyel's stuff has been must-read material lately. Hs hate-mail column after a legitimate ripping of Rich Rodriguez? Comic gold. I must say, Michigan fans (at least most of those who wrote to Gregg) are a bunch of thin-skinned whiners.

Doyel was right. Thus far, the evidence suggests UM missed on that hire.

Nah... I've seen his string on the old thread. I just as soon please myself if I have to go out like that.

I thought his Tiger column yesterday was damn good, too.
