    He's been suspended, not fired. I guess that's a good thing.

    Those no-end-in-sight suspensions have a way of turning into dismissals as soon as the jury weighs in.

    If he's innocent, then the paper's lawyers have to earn their retainer.

    Gregg Doyel's stuff has been must-read material lately. Hs hate-mail column after a legitimate ripping of Rich Rodriguez? Comic gold. I must say, Michigan fans (at least most of those who wrote to Gregg) are a bunch of thin-skinned whiners.

    Doyel was right. Thus far, the evidence suggests UM missed on that hire.
