    I'm sorry, shotty. It's bad news whenever anyone loses a job.

    But I don't think you or thousands of others were laid off in service of diversity.

    Dennis Lin of San Diego Union Tribune, Jake Kaplan of Houston Chronicle and Bernie Miklasz have joined. Houston, Los Angeles and San Diego all had sites launched today in addition to New York City, Cincinnati and Dallas.

    Launching a Cincinnati site, with Rosecrans, might end up getting my $40/year or whatever it is. Gonna check out the app.

    I paid 41.80 for a year, though I did it through a discount link Trent himself posted.

    One of our editors just left to go there and oversee their baseball vertical. Emma Span, a very talented editor. They're not messing around.

    My Facebook feed tossed up a $30 rate for first year, then $60 for subsequent years. Sold.

    Good for him. That's a guy who always earned his paycheck. His notes columns were terrific at ESPN. When's he gonna win the Frick award? It's overdue, IMHO.
