    I hope it works. It’ll hurt a lot of really good journalists if it doesn’t.

    It feels very much like a “fake it til you make it” deal unless someone buys the whole operation.

    I'd be surprised if the VC people think it will take that long. 24 months maybe.

    Being acquired is a time-honored strategy in tech.

  11. I don't read this thread much, but I just discovered Ed Bouchette, long-time Steelers beat writer for the P-G left this spring to join the Athletic.
    Wondered because I had seen his by-line for sometime. I thought maybe he was on vacation.

    Good get for them and probably - given the P-G's recent fortunes, probably and even better move for Bouchette.
