    Maybe the worst-kept secret in Indianapolis after he was laid off by WTHR. Good for Bob & good for the Indy market as the city retains one of its best voices and an outstanding columnist.

    He's excellent -- very much the voice of the market. (That's no slam on Doyel -- is he at that level now?) Similar to a Jeff Schultz in Atlanta or a Calkins in Memphis, neither of whom is at a newspaper anymore.
