I haven't grounded anybody yet since my quiet return, but I'm sure there will be a first...

 

Monday night in Calgary will be a blast.

 

A kid from our area got drafted today.

Twenty minutes before deadline.

So yeah, fuck the draft.

Writing a POS brief on the front page that I'd secretly hoped would be better - he went where he was slotted, after all - because the team he went to had changed coordinators and while I knew a fair amount about the previous one, I know nothing of the new guy. So the brief really was a POS.

Fuck the draft. At least I'm off tomorrow, so I won't have to deal with it when another of our kids gets drafted.

No war needed. When I said grill, I meant that as an all-emcompassing term. Of course ribs go on the smoker, but if you don't have 10 hours to slow cook them, the grill works as well.

So does SJ need to take up a collection to get Moddy a new grill?
