    I'm in my office now. From my window, the most prominent site is an abandoned house on the next block over.

    It's boarded up, but everyday I see cats -- several of them -- going in and out underneath the weathered boards. It is a literal cathouse.

    I don't know how many of live them there, but I'm starting to get suspicious that they are becoming dangerously intelligent. Despite the fact the house is abandoned and increasingly dilapidated, the yard is almost always mowed.

    I had a pretty shitty day today. Our track team hosted a 12 team invitational. Beautiful day turned sour when 70 mile winds started rockin' and rollin through our city. Three athletic directors on hand decided to scrap the meet, right before the mile relay. It's our best event, I spent hours creating the lineup so we could win the meet and win that race. We ended up losing the meet by 8 points to our cross town rival which is also a private school. I hate private schools.

    Oh and one of our dumb vaulters broke our pole vault pole and our $800 team tent snapped in the wind and broke.

    Oh, and Beat Arthur died.

    What the fuck.
