Sorry, 'Beetus, got busy. Mendenhall is who I would have picked anyway, so good job, everyone.

I'm not really a general manager, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night, Doc.

A lot of sparring in the Cards' draft room. Five different players got votes.

    4. Oakland Raiders - DT Glenn Dorsey
    5. Kansas City Chiefs - DE Vernon Gholston
    6. New York Jets - RB Darren McFadden
    7. New England Patriots - CB Leodis McKelvin
    8. In a trade with Baltimore - New Orleans Saints - DT Sederick Ellis
    9. Cincinnati Bengals - G/T Branden Albert
    10. Baltimore Ravens - T Ryan Clady
    11. Buffalo Bills - WR Devin Thomas
    12. Denver Broncos - T Chris Williams
    13. Carolina Panthers - QB Brian Brohm
    14. Chicago Bears - RB Rashard Mendenhall

I might have jumped the gun on you all a little there. I'll sit on my hands until the Steelers come up.

Cheifs can't be happy to see three OLs off the board

It's not a one-person pick. Everyone votes on a guy, most votes gets the pick. Feel free to vote on every pick ;)

I think they'd ideally like to trade down with the Saints and take Albert or Clady there Saturday. I could be crazy.

That's what I think too. I honestly don't think it would be bad for them to trade down to the saints, go OL there AND at 17, then think whats-his-name from Auburn in the 2nd round, Groves.

Well they need to get something back in the draft for the Allen trade. So I could see them going defense here if they went offensive line with their first pick.

Maybe I'm just higher on Groves than most people, but getting him early in the 2nd round seems like good value to me, and seems like he's an instant-impact type player.
