The 109th U.S. Open Championship

    1. Jack Nicklaus 18.
    2. Tiger Woods 14 and counting.

    Nothing else needs to be said.

    If a team wins five Super Bowls and never trails, is it diminished because they never came from behind to win one?

    For me, three things have to happen to put him in front of Jack.
    1. He needs to win 19 majors. -- likely
    2. He needs to come from behind. -- hasn't happened yet, but it has to at one point
    3. He needs to win one when he's in his mid-40s. -- every great champion can reach back and get one more

    I'll take some heat for saying this, but it will be 10-15 more years before we can honestly say he's better than Jack.

    Like it wouldn't count if he went out and dropped four straight 65s and ran away with the Masters or Open wire-to-wire, to win by 15?
