    Well, yeah. War zone or not, she was a vain woman, one who held that sort of thing highly.

    And it wasn't as if she showed up at mess hall in dress black.

    I totally agree - the final straw was seeing Klinger in cornrows and spandex

    When MASH reruns hit the syndication market they commanded record prices and some stations built the entire early evening schedule around them. I don't think they ever justified the price because people kept watching Wheel of Fortune.

    Now they're time filler run back-to-back-to-back on one of the lesser cable channels.

    I would have to disagree. MASH after the 10 o'clock news was dominant. In my market back in the 80s, the NBC station started delaying The Tonight Show a half-hour because it was getting killed by MASH.

    If you haven't seen it, run out and rent the movie.

    Donald Sutherland and Elliott Gould are amazing.

    Funny, I was just thinking about it last night. One of the patients on the new HBO show, "In Treatment," told a similar story. I immediately started thinking, "Two weeks into this show and they're ripping off MASH!"
