    Warriors radio voice Tim Roye said it had more of an "aroma" than an "aura."
    By the time the Clippers put a good team together, the L.A. Riots had them scrambling to the Anaheim Convention Center for a playoff game.
    Unless UCLA was involved, a USC game never came close to filling the place.
    By the late '90s, it was hosting raves.

    IIRC, The Boss would ONLY play at the Arena when he toured SoCal...because it was a union shop.

    He played three or so shows to open Staples Center in 1999 and blasted the place for being too corporate with all its suites.
