The Weather Channel's "It Could Happen" paranoid disaster series has focused on it for at least eight re-runs.

They may not survive an alien invasion either. Fuck that stupid story about nothing. Jesus Christ, if a giant fire-breathing lizard broke loose it would burn up half the Midwest. No one cares about that, either.

    Things to worry about:

    1) The stock market.
    2) Global warming.
    3) An alien invasion.
    4) New Madrid fault unleashes its fury.
    5) Chemical terrorism.
    6) A pandemic breakout of sores, flu or viruses.

Well, I'm not in Tennessee, so I could care less.
The New Madrid deal? Hey, it bring Tennessee closer to Colorado. So it's got more regional appeal.

West Tennessee is in the "Midwest?"

I guess the earthquake could make it a part of the Midwest, but it isn't there yet.

Damn! The History Channel's MegaDisaster series has completely whiffed on the giant fire-breathing lizard story.
