I noticed that, too. You can crop it and lose the impact of seeing Venus playing in that huge wrap on her leg ... or leave it be and allow your readers to get a faceful of Williams crotch. Not a pleasant choice either way.

 

The AP ran one photo that was within millimeters of showing Serena's box.

The European photogs are pervs (well, so are the ones here, but not as bad). I've got a picture of Jelena Jankovic at Wimbledon (I think) from about two years ago that looks like she's getting nailed from behind by the female trainer. Never could have run it, but there it was on teh wire.

 

I was looking for a Wimbledon photo tonight and saw the Serena split on the thumbnails. Yeah, looks good.
Then I opened it up.
No freaking way can I run that!

 

A couple of years ago one of the ESPNs showed Jankovic getting stretched by a trainer courtside during a match ... and all of a sudden she was in a modified welcome-sailor with the camera pointed straight at her crotch.

 

Somebody must have a major thing for Jankovic then
