When was the last time they did those? Even the NFL team sites don't seem to run much more than a list of who got cut.
We've had a couple of local guys scratching at the margins of the roster for the past few years and it's always been a chore to find anything. It's even harder today when a lot of those guys get re-signed to the practice squad.

The papers that simply grab the AP's TV listings and throw them on their website (and print copy?) are going to be in for a surprise. Next week's listings have this week's college football games.

Especially on the first weekend of the NFL season.

From yesterday's Ohio State-Arkansas State AP story:
The Buckeyes were penalized nine times for 85 yards, after drawing seven flags costing 75 yards last week against Notre Dame. Cornerback Denzel Ward drew two pass-interference flags in the same series in the first half.
Denzel Ward. Denzel Burke. At least the writer got the first name correct.

The Ole Miss-Tulsa football game story was posted to the "Racial Injustice" wire.
The score was 35-27. That hardly qualifies as a hate crime.

    COLLEGE FOOTBALL
    7:30 p.m.
ESPN2 — Golden State at Appalachian St.

You'd think the Golden State Warriors playing college football would be a bigger story. How many of their players even have eligibility? And they have to play both ways too.

Maybe if he'd seen it under the boxing or MMA listings.

The NHL team in San Jose relocated without telling anyone.

SAN DIEGO SHARKS — Reinstated RW Alexander Barabanov from the injured reserve list.

Not from the AP, but I saw this on an ESPN gamecast and it made me laugh.
