Even though I am not a Cleveland fan, I am very glad to hear this. If LeBron had left, I don't know if the city would have ever recovered. If any tortured fan base deserves a once-in-a-generation talent like LeBron, Cleveland does.

Agreed. Good for the people of Cleveland. Good thing the salary cap exists.

Good for the folks in Cleveland...but Simmons still has a point. I seem to remember Eddie Jones getting a cut in his endorsement contract from Nike after he was traded away from the Lakers...even though his stats improved.

A clause in his new contract says that the Plain Dealer must publish a photo of him in the paper every day.

The Plain Dealer, of course, is more than happy to comply.

I'm good enough to be pictured in the Plain-Dealer! </LeBron>

    Couldn't resist

Was there really ever any cause for concern? Seriously?

    He wasn't going anywhere.

Wow. Some people take their fandom pretty darn seriously.

Yeah, it's called being a sports fan. Try it sometime.

If this brings Pho Real out of the woodwork, someone is going to die.
    Most likely me.
