  1. I mean, thank GOD we got this piece of shit out on DVD as quick as possible...

And yet, not a single season of Ed can be found.
  2. That show had a "complete first season"?
    Who knew?

What does the asterisk mean in the product description?

I'm guessing it means US Weekly said that quote about Laura Prepon in regards to something besides October Road.

The sad thing is that I viewed it and now Amazon will give me recommendations based on this. Ugh.

    Laura Prepon is a scientologist.

It's kind of a remake/sequel to the movie, "Beautiful Girls" (Dillon, Hutton, Thurman, Portman, Lauren Holly, Mira Sorvino, Rosie O'Donnell) -- written by the same guy, with the same basic plot -- late 20s/early 30s semi-slacker "artistic" guy drifts back to his hometown, meets up with some of his old buds, etc etc.

Never saw a minute of the TV series -- from what I've read, it's not as good as the movie.

    Had no idea, Star.

    That movie was awesome.

    Jailbait Portman was fantastic...

"beautiful girls" is a vastly underrated film, imo.
