No, it's not. I don't really like to text and my plan has only 200 messages a month. I don't come close to using them all. Texting has its uses but if I want to have an extended conversation with somebody, I call them.

I have one friend who would rather have conversations via texting. I ignore her messages and I've told her why but she still insists on texting.

a friend of mine's daughter ran up a $4,000 phone bill last month. yes, in one month.
don't know how much it was text messaging, but obviously it doesn't matter. a helluva phone bill.

If you have a teenager with a cell phone, there's only one choice: Unlimited data plan. The money you save will be well worth whatever it costs above basic service.

Oh, I guess there is another choice: No cell phone for the kid. (My 14-yo has had hers since she was 11, but she only received texting privileges last year.)

Ok then. Cocaine must not be addicting since I don't like to do it...

Good thing you clarified, cos T&D does actually stand for something, so I was told.

If she has two phones and uses both hands, she could get that done in half the time. Of course, she'd have to be ... ambitextrous.
