I saw the list of scores and thought an NFL preseason game was thrown in there. Swear to God.

the amazing thing is the Rangers scored all the runs in FOUR innings.

five in the fourth, nine in the sixth, 10 in the eighth and six in the ninth.

"So, skip, what was the difference in the first, second, third, fifth and seventh?"

You KNOW they're scoring something like 1 or 2 in the nightcap, right?

    It's over.

More runs scored than outs recorded.

How many pitchers are left for Game 2?

Baltimore only burned four guys. Of course, they gave up 6, 7, 8 and 9 runs.

And, oh shit, every one of them was earned.

Surprisingly, they only went through four pitchers, one being Cabrera.

I would have thought at lease one position player pitched.

    Nice 8-9 combo of Salty and Vazquez: 8-12, 9 R, 14 RBI, 4 HR

Yeah and in the nightcap the O's send to the mound Garrett Olson, a promising kid but one who right now can't find the strike zone with a compass.

Kid's going to learn about taking one for the team tonight.

I saw a Rockies-Padres game last week in which Colorado got up 6-2 before the Padres put up NINE runs with two outs in the fifth inning. Rockies used three pitchers once it was at two outs before finally getting out of that inning.
