    I have zero ties to Texas but have been a TM subscriber for years. I just think they do everything well. Can't speak for The Atlantic, but $12 for a year of TM is a steal.

    Texas Monthly is a fabulous magazine. I did live in Texas for a while, but I discovered it before I lived there and haven't missed an issue since I left.
