Texas Monthly or The Atlantic?

Great deals (I think) on Amazon right now. I can get Texas Monthly for $12 a year or Atlantic for $24.50 a year.

I know folks here read both, so I'm asking: which will I enjoy more?

Texas Monthly if you like reading about crime.

I have no idea what this means, but knowing you, I'm not going to run the risk of googling it.

These are broad strokes, but do you like story-telling (Texas Monthly) or commentary (The Atlantic) better? There's your answer.

    Story-telling. Thanks!

The Atlantic is the best website anywhere.

That said, if I want something lying around that I can sink into on a whim, I'd go Texas Monthly.

That's kind of what I'm looking for. I'm trying to get more well-rounded in the pieces I read.

The Atlantic does a lot of yelling these days.
