Texas high school hockey championship ends in brawl

    Nailed it. Black-sweater dude deserved what he got. I'm amazed to see the guy he nailed into the boards for the first cheap shot get right up. Wow.

    Actually, Keller only won the Silver state championship. Plano West beat Southlake Carroll for the Gold championship and both advanced to the USA Hockey national high school championship in Chicago. Carroll finished as runner-up -- not bad for a Texas team.

    The second cheap shot will probably lead to assault charges

    If they allowed guns at these events all this violence would've been niipped in the bud

    It's Texas, so I'm pretty sure they do.

    Two of those kids should be suspended permanently.

    The kid in white had been sent to the dressing room because of a penalty and he came back onto the ice.

    They're seniors and it was supposedly their last game, so suspensions won't have any affect on them.

    And these teams are not school-sponsored, so there will be no sanctions via that route either.
