    Really. You're defending McCarthy?

Hey, if you want to equate McCarthy with Communist dictators who have murdered millions of their own people, be my guest, Mr. Complete Lack of Perspective.

Hey, if you want to defend McCarthyism by misrepresenting other people's posts and start ridiculous threadjacks rather than deal with the fact that people on your side if the fence are the ones abusing their positions within companies that make textbooks to perpetrate educational fraud, go for it. Just don't expect anybody to buy it.

America's public schools are completely fucked because liberals have had their way for far too long. The NEA is a fucking partisan joke, and textbooks have been used to promote the left's ideology for decades. Anyone who has a choice and sends their children to a public school deserves the terrible education the kids receive.

In many states, New York being a prime example, public schools have much higher standards for teachers and better resources available than private schools. But hey, don't let facts like that get in the way of a misguided rant.

But thanks. I will take your attempt to divert the discussion again as an admission that you know it is conservatives trying to manipulate the system through textbooks and that you really were defending McCarthyism.

And it was the conservatives who fucked up No Child Left Behind with the execution of it.

Texas probably goes along with the nutzoid "Socialist" label given Obama, but then likes a Soviet theory that vindicates McCarthy???? This just has to be stopped.

"The board, for example, overturned recommendations from social studies teachers that 6-year-old children are too young to be taught about the hanging of Revolutionary War patriot Nathan Hale. The experts had recommended that Hale be introduced in the fifth grade instead."

Yes, let's teach little children about hangings in between nap time and recess.

(And yes, I realize most schools have gotten rid of of nap time.)

Stupid fools. I supposed next, they'll want to teach that African-Americans were better off as slaves in this country instead of being free in their own.

If they did teach that last item, considering their POV, it wouldn't surprise me a bit.
