If you've ever been in an NFL lockerroom and not left fairly convinced of roid use, you should take off your sunglasses and give it another look. Hard work alone can't possibly make people look like that.

I cover a big college program, and I think some of those guys have to be using, too. They're too damn big to be that damn quick.

Looks like Mr. Bradshaw then injected steroids into his marriages. Those were definitely short lifespans.

Well then you go right ahead and hang on blindly to that Merriman suspension as proof the NFL's drug testing policy is super duper awesome.

No one entering the professional world today is thinking of their future. Otherwise, why would we have so many kids entering the draft two or three years early or straight out of high school (in MLB). If they were really thinking, they might realize that they won't be playing sports for the rest of their lives and a degree just MIGHT be beneficial.

Then again, I'm one of those old-school people that likes to see their college athletes graduate.

Anyway, back to the original topic of this post...I fail to see what kind of newsworthiness this has. He did it 30 years ago. I still don't know exactly why he chose to bring it up? I don't particularly care. I wasn't alive during the 70s. It's not really going to change the way he's seen that he used steroids while rehabbing. It just feels like weird timing to me.

Maybe he just wasn't getting enough attention. Don't dismiss that as a possible motivation for Bradshaw.

Well, Andre the Giant made it to 46 after being predicted to die at 30.

If you had a 400-pounder who ran a 4.2 ... for real ... where do you start him? RB? TE? QB?

I'd say center because he could get anywhere on the field faster from his position and be a massive obstruction all along.
