That's what David Cameron is calling the killing of a man identified in multiple media reports (I know, I know) as a British service member.

Chilling footage out there of a purported suspect calmly holding a machete in his hand.

I breathlessly await the discussion on meat cleaver control that is sure to break out here.

On the bright side, the two barbarians were gunned down by police.

Media get the interview before the police get them. Wait wut?

British cops don't carry guns so they probably had to ask to borrow a few before they could shoot this guy.

What strikes me in that video is the people who appear to be non-chalantly milling around the sidewalks behind the guy. And who is filming this interview anyways?

Wouldn't you expect folks standing near a homicidal madman who just chopped a man to death and is still wielding the weaponry to be reacting with a wee bit more alarm? Very weird footage.

Your average British policeman walking a beat doesn't carry a gun. That doesn't mean that the British police don't have guns. As it was in London, I assume that the suspects were shot by SO19 officers. SO019 have a shit load of guns.

You should try having a clue what you're talking about. It's all the rage.

You and Mr7134 shouldn't be such fucking humorless fuckwits and recognize a fucking joke when you see one.

Here's part of it. But I think it was a passer-by with a cell camera.

It's the oddest thing, the guys were just hanging out after the attack. They were holding knives and machetes and were talking to witnesses and bystanders. And nobody seemed concerned that they might kill more people.

You sometimes get such a sense of disconnect on the streets of London that it might as well be a David Lynch film.

Seriously, if I hadn't seen the attack itself, I would have walked right on by ("humm... drunk guy lying unconscious in the road.... some other guy - South London, respect Bro! - ranting on tediously to his buddies... nope, nothing new...")
