I seem to recall that some folks on here were upset DTV excluded Tennis Channel...

    From Cynopsis:
Tennis Channel has a new multi-year distribution contract with DIRECTV, Inc. that will begin with a Sneak Peek of the French Open coverage May 27-June 10 available to 16 million DIRECTV customers. The French Open coverage will also include French Open Interactive, with additional footage and features. Tennis Channel will launch on the satellite provider later this summer on a base package to around 8 million customers. Then in December 2007, Tennis Channel will launch a second high-definition network and DIRECTV will make it available to its customers in HD.

    Life is gooooooooooooooooooood.

DirecTV also will be duplicating what they did with the U.S. Open with 5 extra channels showing action from 5 courts at the French Open (plus a French Open "mix" channel, where you can see all five on the same screen).

Looks like those 23,542,893 e-mails to DirecTV finally paid off. ;D
