Throw his ass in jail, along with a few dozen of his colleagues.

Stevens was the one, who, threatened to walk out the Senate chamber when other senators were complaining about his $270 million bridge to nowhere.

Hey Stevens, don't let the door hit you in in the ass on the way out!

The man is 84 years old and still in congress.

I willing to bet that Robert Mugabe would post his bail hearing the news about these charges.

Is it too early to begin speculating about a presidential pardon?

Don't blame him. Blame the Alaskans that voted for him every election. There's a price you pay for democracy.

Yeah that $270 million bridge to nowhere.

Stevens, like most career senators ON BOTH SIDES, got elected because they brought home the bacon.

Sens. McClellan and Kerr brought home the bacon to Arkansas and Oklahoma respectively by having the Kerr-McClellan River Navigation project done on the Arkansas River.
At the time it was considered a boondoggle, now the Arkansas is the second busiest river, in terms of barge traffic, in the country.
Stevens building a $270 million bridge to, literally, nowhere isn't even in the same class.
Utterly shameless has been the Ted Stevens way for decades.
But keep saying they are all the same.

And got bribed with a grill that he can use for a half-hour each year back in his home state?

Then again, Bobby Bowden would casution us not to believe everything we see on the E-Bays.

So how many senators is it that have faced federal charges in the past five years? Two? Three? Four? Gee, I can't imagine what's wrong with our country.
