So much for being inoperable, huh? I guess we'll see. He's having it done at Duke Medical Center. I think CNN said it would happen at 9am.

Yeah, CNN says it's going on right now.

It says he should be in surgery until 3 p.m. EST. I hope and pray he pulls through.

I guess it's the old Hail Mary to try to snip it back as much as possible. I too was under the impression they couldn't get to it.

This can't be a good sign in any way. If it is truly inoperable then they wouldn't risk going in unless he was really near the end and had nothing to lose.

Breaking news says the surgery was successful. "They accomplished their goals" ... whatever they were.

You get as much of it out, as you can . . . leaving you remnants to target.

May as well take the shot. Reward's great, if you win.

Has any surgery where the patient lives ever been declared "unsuccessful"

Who handled Michael Jackson's plastic surgery?

    Not in the sports world.

Thousands of times in the real world.

So, then, AQB, why is it not a good sign?
Also, folks, the docs never said it was inoperable, did they? I thought that was always just speculation.
