All I'm saying is Teddy K is viewed, at least here, as a very polarizing figure. Kind of like Hillary. And viewed by some (many?) as a doddering old fool.

What's the big deal . It's only an endorsement. It's not like Obama is getting in the car with him to drive somewhere.

They can if they hammer their cries home hard enough that voters believe it's true. Which the Republicans have been far, far better at in the last two Presidential elections than the Dems.

    Teddy endorses this, too.

    Teddy!

"The One Who Wasn't Worth Shooting."

(he killed his own chances at the presidency)

It's not surprising when Obama is compared to JFK. Both display a mastery of making stirring speeches.

  6. Not unlike George W. Bush, I might add! Oddly though, while Kennedy's endorsement was sought after by the Democratic candidates, I don't see any of the Republican candidates lighting up the switchboard at the White House trying to get W's endorsement. Heck, they won't even mention his name in public. Personally, I'm waiting to see which Republican Larry Craig endorses before I make my decision about who to vote for on Super Tuesday ;0

Are we talking about the same JFK who in today's society would likely be looked at more as a moderate conservative.

Ted Kennedy is no Oprah. He's mostly irrelevant. I don't think his endorsement hurts, but, as dools alluded to, it may provide the opposition with a little more anti-liberal ammo in the general election.

Not for nothing, Boom, but even the Wall Street Journal thinks Kennedy was above average.

Come on, the most Ted will do is teach Obama to swim. That is if he doesn't leave him behind for 24-plus hours trapped in the car under water.

Maybe Obama should just go to the YMCA to get his diving lessons.

I am shocked that Grant isn't on the FAILURE list.

The man finished behind James Polk and Grover Cleveland, for God's sake. That cannot be a good thing.
