There are probably 100 players who have been bigger busts than Ted Ginn.
This is one of the stupidest threads ever.

I can think of ten Lions who are worse than him.

Rogers, Harrington, Williams or any other first round draft pick from the last 20 years.

Jamar Fletcher instead of, oh, I don't know, maybe Drew Brees comes to mind.

OK, now that my fanboi looserness is out on the first page and I'm not mad at Ted Ginn (as much) anymore, I'll say this:

Ted Ginn is not *that* bad. But he was a terrible pick at number eight, especially considering that if the Dolphins wanted him that bad, they probably could have moved back pretty far in the first round and still gotten him. Hell, there's a pretty good chance he still would have been there in the second round, where they took John Beck.

But both of the balls Pennington threw to him in the end zone have got to be caught. If you're going to pretend to be a number one receiver, you've got to catch the balls number one receivers are supposed to catch. Ginn is fine running those 5- and 10-yard outs or getting the ball outside where he has a chance to make a move. But he made terrible plays on two good balls in the end zone last night. It was a good play by the defender, but with Ginn's size and presumed athletic ability, he ought to be able to get up high enough to where that defender wasn't a factor. And don't even get me started on the ball he missed by two feet in the end zone in the first half.

He's not a bust. But he's not that good, either.
