    I'm sure there's some tough-as-nails, .260-hitting second baseman seeing his pro dreams end today so Tebow can continue his meteoric rise. I'd like to throw something.

    If someone's career ended today because of Tebow, it was destined to end soon anyway.

    That may be because you're only interested in the guys who wind up playing in the big city. I've known quite a few of them who have battled and lost the fight. Guess it's that country bumpkin in me.

    Well, Tebow's football team did win one more playoff game than Peyton Manning did one year. Didn't his brother think that made him better than Peyton Manning?

    It's like people think it's a badge of honor to work for $20,000/year playing Single-A ball. Same kind of sentiment happens among journalists.
