    Smart, smart move.

Now UF can hit the NCAA Championship cycle.

So now Florida will get the preseason No. 1 ranking and, essentially, another mulligan in the first half of the season if it loses a game.

Bigger news -- Tebow returning to UF or Jesus returning to Earth? Discuss.

  7. I don't know why everyone hates Tebow. Afterall, he did shut down the Oklahoma offense all by himself.

I realize these threads are as much about (and maybe more about) the Tebow hype than about Tebow himself, but I wonder if it would be better if he were a stinking turd. Would people find that more tolerable? I tend to agree with Mizzou and a few others that Tebow seems sincere, and I also appreciate how over the top the networks are with their anointing of him.

Still, some of the bashing is as tired and overplayed as the hype.

  10. I don't mind Tebow. I just don't understand all the praise he received after the OK game. Defense won that game.

You forgot about the girl with the spectacular cans w/Tebow in that photo, which I am certainly not allowed to post here. She's Nos. 1, 3 and 6, 9 and 10.

But seriously, how can you not love the guy? The hype is a bit much, granted, but he's a lot of fun to watch and certainly good for college football.

I don't know Tebow and don't think he's a bad kid at all from the impression I get.

I think the bashing is all about the hype. But I could be wrong.
