    Macomb teacher arraigned on sex acts charges

    A South Lake High School teacher was arraigned this morning on charges she engaged in sex acts with two different, current male students on June 26.

    Melissa Lavender, 33, stood mute to the charges of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. St. Clair Shores Police said the incident happened on a former student’s parents' boat that was docked in a St. Clair Shores marina.

    Lavender’s lawyer, Mike Dennis, waived the formal arraignment, meaning that the allegations were not spelled out before Judge Joseph Oster this morning in the 40th District Court in St. Clair Shores.

    I would never insult my friends at SportsJournalists.com like this. If there are no pics of the female teacher, then the event may as well have never happened.
