Teacher busted for selling 8-year-old student's coat on ebay

    How do they know the coat was stolen? It may have simply been lost.

    The teacher can say in her defense she tried to find the rightful owner and, when none turned up, claimed it. Didn't have any use for it so she tried to sell it.

    I smell a Nifong situation.

    Except it went on eBay the day after it disappeared. Not a whole lot of "try" there.

    In the story it says she makes $70-fucking-K a year, she doesn't need any supplementing.

    And for what it's worth, stealing from an eight year old should be a felony.
