I love Tiny Desk and wish they'd kept up their Roku app.

 

They are doing Tiny Desk Fest this week. Every night through Thursday they are livestreaming a performance at 7 pm EST. Tickets were given to the public.

As a friend of mine said to me after I took my daughter to a Taylor Swift concert last year:

There are two kinds of people in the world: People who like Taylor Swift ... and goddamn liars.

 

Our oldest daughter was way into Swift and Perry and Adele — and then just stopped listening to them. Fine. By. Me.

 

That's why they call it now?

 

Masters. Seriously, the performance and musicianship are terrific.

 

Three very different artists, right there.

I wonder if Adele ever puts out another album. Her last one was borderline Buble in spots.

 

I saw her last year with my daughter and she was freaking terrific -- in the rain at the Meadowlands.

 

I heard them before I saw them and liked their music. Let's face it, anyone who can make "Get Into My Car" not suck is a master at what they do.

 

One of my favorites in a playlist I keep for those days or evenings when the weather is wretched, there's no sportsball I care about on, a book or knitting project is calling, etc.
