    Having them take their own photo is always the best route. The shooters have enough to do with news assignments, videos and slide shows anyway to take that team photo. The last couple of places I've worked has been doing that not only in sports, but with the service clubs and other community groups doing charitable deeds, and it's so easy not only to use some of the less-expensive digital cams, but to e-mail the photos or put them on a cd. Make sure they id everyone though, hopefully in e-mail so you can just copy and paste the info on the page (and any spelling mistakes in names are not your fault!),
